Some Gardening Tips

Check all you plants on a regular basis so that you can identify any problems, or potential problems, early. Once identified deal with them as soon as possible. This way you will keep pests, plant diseases, and weeds under control. Wherever possible select plant varieties that have pest and disease resistance. The weeds on you driveway, path, and patio can be kept at bay by using a long lasting weed killer. Check that the one you select is not harmful to wildlife, including pets - yours or your neighbours. Remember to give your plants what they need - space to flourish, access to light, nutrients when needed, and regular watering. When planting large shrubs or small trees put a length of piping with holes in the ground near their base. When watering, this will enable the water to get straight down to the roots.
